Residents of an Auckland suburb are being warned to stay inside due to an ongoing “armed incident.” Police were called to help a woman who said she was being threatened by a man. Police said later she was safe with them near the blockhouse Bay Recreational Reserve.

Parts of Terry St have been cordoned off and the Armed Offenders Squad are in attendance. Residents have been advised to stay indoors while police search for a man.
