Earthquakes In Hawke’s Bay

Two earthquakes rocked the Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand today, the first at 4.18pm measured 5.3 on the Richter scale and the second was at 8.25pm and measured 4.3.

Ruapehu is still at alert level one, which it has been at for some time. However, the quake drum appears to be out of service. Here are today’s and yesterday’s drum traces:
