New Zealanders are livid about their Prime Minister’s autocratic decision to lead them into the illegal Iraq war to support American troops stationed there.

  1. After living in New Zealand for 6 years (originally from UK) I’m shocked how quickly laws can change. I soon realized that whatever the public opinion is in the present can affect a law change quickly within a matter of weeks. This is because there is only one debating chamber. Don Key has taken this ridiculous system to the extreme by deciding on a public matter like ‘going to war’ by himself without even debating the issue within the one chamber. What a shambles of a system.
